July 4th!

Today starts my favorite holiday weekend of the year, July 4th! Sunshine, sand, sparkling ocean, burgers, pasta salad, hot dogs, and good friends...what could be more perfect? Put on your red, white, and blue best and rock the weekend away. As for me I'll be hopping on my beach cruiser and starting my weekend with a bike ride with my two best friends. Most people do not like the rain...it makes people tired and cranky. Most days I am not one of those people. I love the rain. I love the smell right before a big spring rain storm and right after. The best part about the rain is when the clouds finally part and the sun peaks through, everything just seems a little brighter.How cute is this little guy? I love him, the puppies on the other hand try to scare him away.

A Girl Can Dream

I've never been one of those girls who dreams about her wedding day. I have friends who are obsessed with wedding shows, blogs, etc...I just don't get it. Sure, diamonds are nice but who wants a dress that can only be worn once. In two weeks, my mom will be getting married and as much as I dislike the idea of marriage, its kind of cute. To get into the spirit of things I've been searching wedding blogs looking for decoration ideas. On my search I stumbled upon this classic wedding video.
